Pineapple Pasta

1 large can of either chicken or tuna
1 8-ounce box pasta, cooked, drained and cooled (use macaroni, bow ties, shells, etc.- your choice)
4-6 tablespoons crushed pineapple (or one small can, drained)
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1⁄4 cup green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. scallions or onions, finely chopped
1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
Dash of ginger- we like LOTS of ginger in this dish, so use a generous dash
1⁄2 cup pecans


In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Toss gently and thoroughly.
Chill until ready to serve.
Will keep in refrigerator for several days.
